Welcome to Education Above All's Public Policy Observatory, it aims to be a knowledge hub for education research, policy and practice. The Observatory gathers valuable insights and promotes collaboration amongst the educators, policymakers and researchers. This empowers stakeholders with evidence-based information to make informed decisions that improve educational outcomes. While our research is at a global level, we emphasize the unique challenges and perspectives of the global south. Recognizing the multifaceted nature of policymaking, we navigate complexities with a commitment to uncovering nuanced solutions.

Unlocking Potential through Education

Education Above All (EAA) is a foundation founded in 2012 by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser. Its aim is to contribute to human, social and economic development through the provision of quality education. With a particular focus on those affected by poverty, conflict and disaster, it champions the needs of children, youth and women to empower them to become active members of their communities.

To serve as a central hub for policymakers and educational stakeholders to share knowledge, exchange insights, and advocate for expanding access to education for all—particularly marginalized individuals, groups, and communities.

Through research, partnerships, and evidence-based insights, we strive to drive meaningful educational dialogue  and promote access to quality of education for all

Thinking Big

The Public Policy Observatory is committed to raising awareness about educational public policy by providing evidence-based insights and exploring context-specific solutions. Addressing education disparities and ensuring access to quality education is a complex challenge that requires localized expertise and tailored approaches. Through strategic knowledge partnerships, EAA aims to expand its outreach, enhance its understanding of key policy issues, and contribute to knowledge production by developing and disseminating valuable research and insights.

 

 

Observatory Network

The Observatory network is at a nascent stage with authors and contributors from Africa to Latin America. The network aims to be part of knowledge creation, knowledge dissemination and Capacity building.
